January
Christmas comes but twice a year. We had a second Christmas Day on 2nd.
February
We went to Ireland for half-term. We flew into Cork and stayed in a cottage near Kenmare, Co. Kerry. it was lovely
Ruby turned 12 while we were there - to celebrate we went to the Lansdowne Arms (not sure yot if there's any connection with the pub of the same name in Lewes).
On our return she received her present - a hamster
March
- Our green car got written off by a delivery van
- We went away for a few days to Kidderminster, and on the way back the other car's tyre was flat
- On our arrival the house was freezing because the boiler had broken down.
April
The Cavalier (the green one on the right) has been towed away. The silver one on the left is a Vectra.
We have now bought a second car - it is yet another Astra, diesel this time.
May
We have found out that Olivia has been allocated a place at Plumpton School, starting in September.
August
Our summer holiday was in Italy this year.
September
A big day for Olivia as she started school at Plumpton School.
October
Deirdre visited Australia to surprise her Mum on the occasion of her birthday.
After just 8 days away, we went to Steve's Dad's 70th party the day she landed.
Pretty tiring!
November
Bonfire night in Lewes was extremely busy this year - the press claimed over 65,000 people were in the town.
Barcombe bonfire night was two weeks later and was also much busier then usual.

December
Kerry (Deirdre's Mum) and Steve arrived on the 4th for a holiday.
We all went to Scotland for a few days, and saw Loch Ness, Edinburgh Castle and lots else besides.
Aussie cousin Amy came for Christmas Day too.
